For those who may not know, I have three fantastic younger siblings – a sister and two brothers! My husband, Paul, also has two wonderful younger sisters. As the oldest children in both of our families, our son Noah is the first grandbaby on both sides (very lucky kid indeed!). So when we heard that my brother Dylan and his beautiful wife Christine are expecting a baby girl in August 2022, we were over the moon! I was so happy to bring some lifestyle photography into her baby shower. 

Not only is Christine a beautiful person inside and out, but she is also full of brains and on track to become a top-performing surgeon following her residency. We’re so lucky to have her in the family! Her darling shower was held on the terrace of Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester Hills, MI in May.  

My sweet niece’s arrival is right around the corner, and we had the best time celebrating Mama-to-be Christine and baby Violet Rose (could her name be any more perfect)! There were, of course, many classic games, and so much laughter. Some of my favorites were ‘Don’t Say Baby,’ ‘How Many Candies in the Jar,’ & ‘What’s in the Bag’! 

Great Oaks Country Club provided a delicious Walford Salad lunch paired with lovely Aperol Spritzes- perfect for a spring day. There were so many amazing treats, too! The gorgeous, custom-designed cookie favors were from Grandma’s Cookie Jar, and Duck Donuts provided dessert. The table centerpieces were made with love using  beautiful flowers from Nino Salvaggio’s (Bloomfield Township). 

We couldn’t have had better weather for Christine’s baby shower and little Violet Rose can’t join us soon enough! I had such a great day with everyone and know Christine is going to make one amazing mom!
