It was such an honor to work with Nicola for her branding photography! Nicola is a fellow photographer (and friend)! When she needed new brand imagery, I was thrilled she reached out.

Nicola and I met back in 2016 during a class we took together on Portraiture and Lighting at Chicago Photography Classes. She is an incredible, gifted photographer in the Chicago North Shore area. Her specialty is family portraiture and brand photography. Nicola recently completed a full rebrand and website overhaul, so the new photos we took needed to emphasize the beautiful face behind the camera!

We met in downtown Lake Forest, IL for this session. Nicola’s brand is clean and modern, with gorgeous greens in her color palette. We focused on locations with bright and light backgrounds so that she stood out, and of course areas with lots of greenery! Nicola often works with clients in forest preserves and parks, so we needed to showcase that aspect in her brand imagery.

The simple, relaxed styling of her outfit for this session was just what we needed. She looked radiant and beautiful, a perfect representation of Nicola and her work. The talented Maria Garcia worked her magic with Nicola’s hair and makeup.
